The Kurhaus, Scheveningen was the setting for the Annual Dinner of the Society in 2007. Her Excellency Judge Rosalyn Higgins, President of the International Court of Justice, was our guest of honour and she captured the audience with her after dinner speech. She explained the importance of international law in resolving and preventing conflict between nation states and illustrated her subject with examples of cases brought before the ICJ.

The dinner was also a good opportunity for members to meet and discuss matters in a pleasant ambiance. It was also a good opportunity for us to meet some members of the Genootschap Nederland Engeland (GNE), with whom we are exploring the possibilities of attending each otheres activities.
